Green Star, EDGE and Net Zero. We are Accredited Professionals with the Green Building Council of South Africa and EDGE Experts. Compliant specification, energy, comfort and daylight modelling, reports and supporting documentation, facilitated end-to-end with the accreditation body.

Building Performance Modelling
Solar radiation, daylight availability, glare mitigation, energy efficiency and use, CFD ventilation airflow, lighting and thermal comfort. We model to inform design strategy and for code compliance - SANS 10400-XA, TM59 overheating risk, ASHRAE 90.1 and climate-resilient risk mapping. We are not limited to software and use a variety of tools to enable design.

Low Carbon + Healthy Materials
Optimise your project's material selection to improve environmental performance, compare embodied energy and carbon scenarios, support occupant health, and secure valuable green building certification points. Our process includes globally compliant LCA and EPD verification software to evaluate embodied carbon by comparing material quantities against Environmental Product Declarations and to performs Life Cycle Assessments directly on Building Information Models.

Think bigger than one building. Microclimate, outdoor comfort, urban heat island mitigation, urban building energy modelling, pedestrian wind comfort, access to sun and light, and resource and resilience strategies for precincts, masterplans and cities.

Performance QA from inception to handover so systems are tailored to the client's needs, operate as intended, and adapt to occupant behaviour over time, including supporting projects with post-occupancy monitoring and tuning through metering, surveys and site walkabouts.

Papers, conferences, teaching and workshops. We invest in academic collaboration so that practice and pedagogy advance together. New capabilities, methods or products are regularly researched and used by our practice to increase existing market share and penetrate adjacent markets. This allows us to achieve efficiency improvements and be a virtual incubator of ideas and innovation.
